Lazy weekend

This weekend was all about sleep, food, movies, and relaxation.

Friday night my sister and her boyfriend Shingo came over, we made buffalo chicken nachos (amazingness) and shared a couple bottles of wine. Shingo and Kevin went out on the patio to drink some beers while me and Alayne put in Sex and the City the movie and laid on the couch. I fell asleep halfway through the movie and woke up at 1am to find Alayne and Shingo gone, and got up long enough to make it into bed.

Saturday I got up early and went to pick up Mulligan, who is Stacey’s sweet golden retriever that we got to dogsit for the weekend. After playing fetch and going on a long, long walk, I took Mulligan back home and went to lunch with Erin at Branch 27. Their lunch is delish and the bellini’s are even better (plus we got one round for free!)

Sunday I ran a few errands, then me and Kevin went to check out the Division Street Art fest. There was a beautiful painting I had my eye on but it was upwards of $1000 and I can’t exactly swing that right now, so I bought a $6 Sangria instead.

I ended the weekend with the MTV Video Awards, which was a bit of a snoozefest (besides Usher’s performance), and a glass of my favorite wine.

All in all a great weekend.
