Detox and new friends
After the past weekend I am desperately in need of a healthy week. I spent time time bowling (drinking beer) watching MSU (drinking beer and eating nachos) and going to my first Bears game (drinking beer and eating hot dogs) then finished off the weekend with some Chinese food.
I could use a couple gallons of water and a salad, to say the least.
To counteract my weekend of debauchery I would like you to introduce you to my new best friends:
Oolong tea - Fights against the fats that are trying to plant themselves into your love handles. I have been so much better about not having coffee but I still crave it and grab decaf pumpkin spike lattes a little too often, so those are off limits this week.
Organic Grapefruits - another great food to fight fat.
Green Vegetables - you know why.
Salmon - Kevin hates salmon so I am going to have it for lunch instead of dinners.
Avocados - the plan is 1 a day
Water + fresh squeezed lemon + pinch of cayenne pepper - Gets your metabolism going.
I also have a great suggestion for a healthy snack, Kashi go lean snack bars in Dark Chocolate Coconut, there is 0 high fructose corn syrup in these and it kind of tastes like a brownie.
I am off to make my baked salmon and spinach lunch.
